Many would associate with this illness with lumpy breasts, but only two out of 10 lumps relate.

Another incorrect conception is: only women suffer, which is as wrong as saying (on a lesser extent) only men get the flu. Men, with their embarrassment of this illness and their masculine chest, are more likely to have a stiffer upper lip (trying to hide it). If one was to be dIagnosed, all is not lost: 97% of women diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer will be effectively cured and over 2.6 million women every year survive in America.

In comparison to women, men are only scathed at the facade. Only 1500 men to 40,000 female deaths in the United States.

FOR STUDENTS at Canons, wearing pink was a sign not only of their care for sufferers but also the need to be more open when such trains derail you in life.

Mr Butcher, the dotting tutor and persecuting PE teacher, met his match of ‘British Steel’ when he got an all-over shave all in the name of charity. Dressed in none other than his uniform PE kit, he took the plunge at the hands of Ms. Morcombe, Head of Year 11 and department colleague in the gymnasium. Marvelling at the mark worthy event were excited year eights, nines, tens, elevens and Sixth Form students. Even Mr. Chowdhury decided to ecstatically to laugh.

In an exclusive, off-the-record interview, a keen Mr. Butcher revealed all from motivation, bold head maintenance and his fear of hair loss.

It’s obvious having the ‘new look’ is not a call for defense with Mr. B. As my tutor for two years he graced the class with his on-the-spot oratory and his mediocre drama.

‘Ego or my masculinity,’ he declares, ‘played no part in this at all.’ His speech drifts off – a call that I ought to know better. ‘I volunteered to have my hair shaved for breast cancer because firstly my friend’s wife is receiving treatment,’ and candidly declares, ‘I have been looking for an excuse to do it!’ Looking into the air he falls into a daydream of a bygone era of his university days, the last time he did this.
His main cause to go bold is to support a benevolent charity – one that not only helps sufferers but their support networks.
In comparison to his boss, the nagging and boisterous figure, he’s not much of a show. But his voice, he says, ‘is the first thing people notice about me, even when they are on the other side of the school.’
To the words of Roosevelt (‘Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent’), the Brunel University graduate emphasises his gallantry against comments: ‘Comments really don’t bother me; they never have and never will,’ adding as a rebuff to all those antagonists, ‘I have had a lot of comments, mainly hey baldy. I think people need to look again.’
I toy with the idea of baldness inflicting him to his shock and a comment, ‘I would have regrets if my hair didn’t grow back’. Apparently he’s too young, a comment easily debatable. ‘Winter is nearly here!’ he reverberates with a Narcissist tone.
I ask whether he wanted to topple the enigmatic and often over-the-top cartoony, loony Mr. Morrow in his charitable stunt. ‘Just wanted to have a shaved head, by the way, it’s very low maintenance!’ Avoiding falling into the effeminate trap he adds, ‘Not that I care that much, it is all good fun and yes, it is great; stick my head in the shower and I’m done’. Anyway, he definitely ‘wouldn’t want to steal any of Mr Morrow’s thunder’. A comical expression dazzles his face.

The final count is still to come but for now ‘at least we have raised £100’.

Has your hair-scratching been eliminated? The surprise question wasn’t expected. He decides hiding is no way out, ‘Really I think I scratch my head more now with a shaved head mainly because I like the way it feels,’ avoiding the wrong ideas among a teen community, ‘it is also because I am thinking. Not very often but it does happen now and again!’

Whether itching his head or not, Mr. Butcher has lent his thought to the less fortunate and believes ‘we all should too’.

For most readers, an Android device is trivial. To reveal the news that Motorola has created it‘s ―first-ever Android device would be even harder to contem-plate.
Perhaps translating that to: a 320 by 480 pixel display, GSM, 3G and WiFi, a side slider; a 5.0 megapixel camera with automatic focus and image editing tools; a record of caller I.D.s, a phonebook, a Moto-blur application which synchs per-sonal and work con-tacts. Put that into one mobile phone that has a Myspace, Photobucket, Pi-casa, Facebook and Twitter direct mes-saging applications then one would be gobsmacked.
The CLIQ will be avail-able as a pre-order from T-Mobile starting Octo-ber 19th to No-vember 1st with in-store orders com-mencing a day later. Sadly for us, this is all happening in America. But let‘s look more into this product to make it even more waiting for.

There‘s a Google Mobile package consisting of Google Maps so you‘re never lost; MarketplaceTM to buy all your favour-ites and an appli-cation directing you straight to mil-lions and millions of YouTube videos. FROM Ricky Gervais, the award-winning creator and star of BBC come-dies The Office and Extras, comes the new romantic comedy The Invention of Lying.
The premise of the film is that there is an alternative reality in which lying does not exist.
Everyone – from politicians to advertis-ers, to men and women walking along the street – speaks the truth and nothing but the truth, with no thought of the con-sequences.
But when a down-on-his-luck loser called Mark (Gervais) suddenly devel-ops the ability to lie, he finds that dis-honesty has its rewards.
In a world where every word is assumed to be the honest truth, Mark easily lies his way to fame and fortune.
However, lies have a way of spreading and Mark begins to realise that things are getting a little out of control when some of his tallest tales are taken as gospel. He also discovers there is one thing he cannot lie his way into – the heart of the woman he loves.
The Invention of Lying also stars Jenni-fer Garner as Mark‘s love interest Jenni-fer, and Jonah Hill from the hit movie Superbad. The comedy is written and directed by Gervais, together with Matthew Robin-son and is produced by Lynda Obst, who was also on the production team for classic rom com Sleepless in Seatle.
